Today audiobook week continues! This meme is hosted by Jen at Devourer of Books. Check out her responses and participants’ linked posts there!

Current/most recent audiobook: I’m currently listening to Across the Universe by Beth Revis.
Impressions: I just started disc 2 of 9, and so far I’m really enjoying it! The narrators are Lauren Ambrose and Carlos Santos, and I love how the chapters alternate perspectives (and narrators) between the characters of Amy and Elder. The story is captivating… I’m already hooked, and I think the narration is fantastic! I am having a bit of trouble imagining the layout of the ship, Godspeed, but thankfully Beth Revis has a map and info on the book’s website to help me out :).
Current favorite audiobook: This is a really hard question because I have so many favorites! So I’ll cheat and list a few: The Harry Potter Series by J. K. Rowling; The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd; Lost Moon: The Perilous Voyage of Apollo 13 by Jim Lovell (narrated by Jim Lovell, astronaut – this is an oldie, unfortunately it’s only on audio cassette).
One narrator who always makes you choose audio over print: Hands down, Jenna Lamia! She has narrated some of my favorite books including The Secret Life of BeesThe Help, and Shiver. I will pretty much listen to any book she’s narrated!

Genre you most often choose to listen to:
Lately I’ve been obsessed with the Young Adult genre, but I enjoy audiobooks of all genres. Most often I listen to YA, general fiction, and chick lit.
If given the choice, you will always choose audio when: Sometimes I find it easier to listen to books of genres I wouldn’t normally pick up, like memoirs and non-fiction. So if given a choice, I usually pick the audio version of those over the physical book.
If given the choice, you will always choose print when: If I’m not a fan of the narrator, then I’ll definitely wait until I can get the book in print.

This was fun! If you participated in this meme, please leave a link in the comments so I can check out your answers.
