Peeps, I’m ridiculously excited to take part in the cover reveal for TRIBUTARY, an e-novella (#3.2) in the River of Time Series by Lisa T. Bergren! Exclusive Excerpt
(Subject to change post-editing)“Honestly, Rodolfo,” Lia said with a sigh behind Alexandria. “She’s not a soldier. She’s our guest.” Alexandria could hear her nock another arrow and then the rustle of it slicing into the tightly tied haystack at the end. She was trying to cajole him out of his dark fury. Show him that she trusted Alexandria and he should too.
“She’s a huntress. What makes you think that she doesn’t have hunting one of the Ladies Betarrini in mind?”
“Tell Celso to draw his sword. And if I do anything out of order, strike me down.”
Greco stared down at her, his face inches from her. “I shall.”
“Good.”
“Good.” With that, he allowed her to wrench her bow away, and she turned back toward Evangelia, hating that she trembled now.
Well, what do you think?! I really like the model that was chosen for Luca, and the cover fits in perfectly with the other books in the series. I love that we get a glimpse of Lia, Rodolfo and Alexandria in the excerpt! I can NOT wait to hang out with these characters and the rest of the gang again :).
