Hi from NYC/BEA! Today was crazy!!! I was hoping to tweet more, but my iPhone doesn’t get a signal in the Javits center :(. Day one was so much fun, I met some really great people and was able to get some fantastic books!
I didn’t take many pictures on my phone today, so sadly I don’t have many to share, but here you go. I’m really sorry for the blurry pictures. First, the eye candy!
The picture of the bags was taken less than an hour after the exhibits opened… I was soooo excited to get a copy of Time Between Us by Tamara Ireland Stone! I also got to meet her at the Apocalypsies event along with Sarah J. Maas, Gretchen McNeil, and many other fabulous 2012 debut authors!
After BEA, I went to the Penguin Young Readers Group party at the Top of the Standard. It was a beautiful location, and I was a little star dazed by all the YA/children authors. Below is a picture of the view, the packed-like-sardines room (1 part of the large room), and me with Kristin Cashore!
