Hello! I’m back home, briefly, between trips and it feels good to be home. I hope you all had a great week, and are having a fantastic summer.
This week author J. Gabriel Gates (Sleepwalkers, Tracks Series) visited to tell us how he came up with the concept for the Tracks Series and is giving away a set of the books. My BFF Anne reviewed United Eden (Eden Trilogy #3) by Nicole Williams, and I also shared my WoW pick of the week TEN by Gretchen McNeil.
Book Haul
I was thrilled to come home from my trip to find a small pile of packages! I just love Brilliance Audio, so I was excited to open the box to find these lovelies:
- Hollowland (The Hollows #1) by Amanda Hocking
- Hollowmen (The Hollows #2) by Amanda Hocking
- Drowning Instinct by Ilsa J. Bick
Thank you Brilliance Audio, I can’t wait to listen to Amanda Hocking’s zombie series around Halloween! This past week I also received 2 books from Scholastic:
- The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater
- Amber House by Kelly Moore, Tucker Reed, and Larkin Reed
Thanks Scholastic! I have an extra copy of The Raven Boys, which only means one thing… I’ll be giving it away, yay! I’m really excited to read both of these!

This week I’ll be hosting author Stephanie Lawton as part of her WANT Blog Tour, and she’ll be giving away an ebook copy of her book to one of my readers! I’ll also be posting a couple of reviews, my top 10 books with vivid settings, and as always I’ll share my WoW pick of the week.
I’ll be traveling again this week visiting family, but I’ll be checking in as I can. Please understand that I won’t be able to respond to comments/emails/tweets as much as usual.

Everyone seems to be raving about The Raven Boys … I haven’t read any Maggie Stiefvater, but should definitely check it out!
