The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. This meme was inspired in part by In My Mailbox. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Weekly News

Hi peeps! I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Independence Day and had a great holiday! I’m currently out of the country with no access to internet, so I won’t be able to respond to comments, emails, or tweets until I return in a little over a week. I have posts scheduled for almost everyday so I hope you stop by and check them out :).

This past week I hosted The Color of Snow Blog Tour (guest post and excerpt), and Heather McCorkle’s guest post about the inspiration for her book To Ride of a Puca. I posted my review of SUCH A RUSH by Jennifer Echols and a guest review for Eternal Eden by Nicole Williams. I also posted my WoW pick of the week, and the book trailer for This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers.

Book Haul

(aka Stacking the Shelves hosted by Tynga’s Reviews

I had a fantastic week of books! I was really excited to get these books this week… I just wish I could read faster. I hope to read a bunch on vacation, but I can’t count on it. I always think I’ll get to read more, but in reality, I usually read less. Here’s my haul for the week:

Thanks to HarperTeen for sending me these awesome titles!

Many thanks to Scholastic for sending me this package of awesome! I was lucky to be invited to Scholastic’s This is Teen Live event in NYC during the week of Book Expo America, and saw the authors perform a scene from all of these books (with a group of 4 authors). I’m really excited to read these after meeting the authors and hearing so much about their books!

Upcoming

This week I’m excited to post my interview with Sarah Tregay, the author of the novel in verse LOVE & LEFTOVERS! I’ll also share my reviews for PUSHING THE LIMITS by Katie McGarry and Letters to Elise: A Peter Townsend Novella (audiobook) by Amanda Hocking. There will also be another guest review, from my BFF Anne, of the second book in the Eden Trilogy by Nicole Williams. I’ll also post my WoW pick of the week, as well as a book trailer.

Again, I’ll be traveling this week, and most of July! I won’t be online this week, but I’ll do my best to catch up once I return. I’m happy to have a blog/internet vacation, it’s long overdue… Though I do have posts scheduled just about every day this month so I hope you stop by to check them out.

Have a great week!

    hi 🙂
I have just posted on someone’s blog about loving these weekly post round-ups, her’s was called ‘clock-re-winders’. I think it is a great way to wind everything up.
I absoloutely love your haul, so many books there that i want to read and review! I did request ‘Through to You’ by edelweiss but im sure they have declined me, or i am still awaiting a response, this was only for a digital arc too. I do not think i will ever get to the stage where i receive arcs as actual copies. I am in the UK and eventually i will see how i go with this 🙂
Enjoy your travelling and your books. Happy reading xx
