The Army of TENI’ve been recruited to the Army of TEN. I’ve joined author Gretchen McNeil and her army to help promote the release of her sophomore novel, TEN (Balzer + Bray, Sept 18, 2012)! I read it a few weeks ago, and it’s creepy AWESOME – I rated it 5 beans! I had planned to post my review this week, but I’ve decided to save it for October… because it’s just perfect for fall and Halloween. 🙂

Check out the synopsis below, then watch Gretchen’s vlog for all the details! She has all kinds of fun things planned, and lots of giveaways!

Ten

Releases: 9.18.12

And their doom comes swiftly.

It was supposed to be the weekend of their lives—an exclusive house party on Henry Island. Best friends Meg and Minnie each have their reasons for being there (which involve T.J., the school’s most eligible bachelor) and look forward to three glorious days of boys, booze and fun-filled luxury.

But what they expect is definitely not what they get, and what starts out as fun turns dark and twisted after the discovery of a DVD with a sinister message: Vengeance is mine.

Suddenly people are dying, and with a storm raging, the teens are cut off the from the outside world. No electricity, no phones, no internet, and a ferry that isn’t scheduled to return for two days. As the deaths become more violent and the teens turn on each other, can Meg find the killer before more people die? Or is the killer closer to her than she could ever imagine? (Goodreads)

Pre-Order: Amazon | B & N | Indiebound

Oh, yeah… and this picture? It pretty much sums up my reading experience. I was creeped out, but in a good way! Stay tuned for my review! There, I’ll tell you the story about why/how my heart stopped while staying up into the wee hours of the morning (2AM) to read TEN, because I couldn’t put it down!
