Anna and Bennett were never supposed to meet: she lives in 1995 Chicago and he lives in 2012 San Francisco. But Bennett has the unique ability to travel through time and space, which brings him into Anna’s life, and with him a new world of adventure and possibility.

As their relationship deepens, the two face the reality that time may knock Bennett back to where he belongs, even as a devastating crisis throws everything they believe into question. Against a ticking clock, Anna and Bennett are forced to ask themselves how far they can push the bounds of fate, what consequences they can bear in order to stay together, and whether their love can stand the test of time. (Goodreads)

Time Between Us is a beautifully written love story intricately woven through time. Months later I’m still thinking about Anna and Bennett! I wonder about where (in time and place) they are, and how they’re doing. I love Anna as a protagonist; she’s relatable and interesting. I quickly connected with her, especially over her desire to get out of her town and travel the world.

Anna lives in the suburbs of Chicago in 1995, and there she meets Bennett while he’s time traveling to search for something he’s lost, in time. He’s from 2012 San Francisco. Anna and Bennett should never have met, much less fall in love… The rules of time travel in Time Between Us are that Bennet can travel anywhere in the world within the span of his life. Which means he can travel to a remote island, Italy, where ever… with just a thought. He can also take someone with him by touching them. So you can imagine the kind of dates Anna and Bennett go on together!

I loved how Anna and Bennett’s relationship developed, and how they navigated the rules of time travel to be together. I also loved the dynamics between them and their families and friends. Time Between Us is a love story but it’s also about choosing your own destiny and finding happiness for yourself.

I can’t wait to read more from this author, and I know I’ll be re-reading this book. I’m both excited and fearful that CBS Films picked up Time Between Us to make a movie! You don’t want to miss this debut by Tamara Ireland Stone. I want to share the love, so enter the Raffelcopter below for a chance to win my ARC!

My favorite Time Travel book is, The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenger. I connected on an emotional level with the characters, loved their romance, the plot, and overall story. I just wish the ending was different.

I really liked Time Bandits for its cheesiness and I enjoyed reading a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court in highschool, but I think I loooooooved The Guardians of Time trilogy by Marianne Curley. It was so fun.

You really had me with Time Between Us when you mentioned their date potential. I’m psyched to hear that the writer really played with the concept and the book lived up to the premise.

I would say the time traveler’s wife. To be honest it’s the only movie I’ve seen about time traveling and I never read any book about it . I want to, I really do, I just haven’t picked up one yet.

For time travel movies, I did just see Looper, which I really enjoyed. As for books, I’ve read a few different series that I enjoyed, but I think for nostalgia’s sake I’m going to go with this series I read as a kid. I don’t remember much about it, but it was a small Canadian series about a young girl travels back in time to… I don’t remember. One book was the 1920s in Dawson Creek, I think. Another one was about PEI and the french population being oppressed. In any case, I loooooved these books when I was a kid,
