showers of books giveaway hop

I’m participating in the Showers of Books Giveaway Hop hosted by Books a la Mode and I Am A Reader, Not A Writer! It’s been a while since I’ve taken part in one… This hop is my pseudo rain dance to bring rain showers (not just snow) to Colorado. Despite all the snow we’ve had this April, we’re badly in drought and need all the precipitation (of any form) we can get.

GIVEAWAY

$15  Giftcard to Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Book Depository (International!)

Note: Winner will be drawn once I return from RT Convention, second week of May

So, there are WAY too many books I could name as possible choices if I win, and I really don’t wanna bore you… so I’ll answer the other Q! 🙂 I do not currently keep a journal, but I actually wish I did and really should start. I kept a diary going back as far as I can remember to even post-college years. Then I stopped somewhere along the way…although I did keep a pregnancy journal when I was pregnant. But that was 5 years ago, and the reason I would like to start keeping a journal is, of course, that I have a child! My husband and I have never kept a baby book or written down in one place all of his “firsts,” so I wish I’d at least kept a journal noting those things. I figure, although it’d be late, I could at least start now! Especially since he’s about to start Kindergarten – what?! Sigh. So, thanks for asking this question…writing this out has convinced me I really do need to start keeping a journal again 🙂 THANKS!!
