Dare To You by Katie McGarryDare To You (Pushing the Limits #2)
by Katie McGarry

Publisher: Harlequin Teen
Release date: May 28, 2013

“I dare you…”

If anyone knew the truth about Beth Risk’s home life, they’d send her mother to jail and seventeen-year-old Beth who knows where. So she protects her mom at all costs. Until the day her uncle swoops in and forces Beth to choose between her mom’s freedom and her own happiness. That’s how Beth finds herself living with an aunt who doesn’t want her and going to a school that doesn’t understand her. At all. Except for the one guy who shouldn’t get her, but does….

Ryan Stone is the town golden boy, a popular baseball star jock-with secrets he can’t tell anyone. Not even the friends he shares everything with, including the constant dares to do crazy things. The craziest? Asking out the Skater girl who couldn’t be less interested in him.

But what begins as a dare becomes an intense attraction neither Ryan nor Beth expected. Suddenly, the boy with the flawless image risks his dreams-and his life-for the girl he loves, and the girl who won’t let anyone get too close is daring herself to want it all… (Goodreads)

My favorite book by Katie McGarry would probably be Crash Into You. And maybe the first book
In the Pushing the Limits series, with Echo and Noah! My favorite scene might be when Isaiah and Rachel meet…. (But I like all of the scenes best!)

I think It’s impossible to pick one book, and just one moment. I like how Beth and Ryan met. I like how they meet the second time. I love how Isaiah and Rachel met and their story, and I absolutely love how West and Haley meet each other and how crazy he is about her. And I love Echo and Noah so much, and Abby, one must never forget Abby.

My favorite is Dare You To, but I love Pushing the Limits and Crash Into You too. But Ryan *-* If only there were people like Noah, Ryan, and Isaiah in my life haha.

I have seen so many great reviews and recommendations for Katie McGarry’ s books but had not read any. Last night I downloaded a free copy of Red at Night and shocked at how emotional a short novella could be. I will definitely be reading her other books.

  15. Kat says:

I just finished this one (my first of Katie McGarry’s) and really liked it! I put these books off for a while because the cover made me think it was a different kind of book. I’m glad I got over it, lol.
