Agree! The narrator was fantastic, but I did miss the full cast like they had for Graceling. Did you listen to it? I highly recommend!

They are awesome! I’m excited that you’re interested in giving them a try. My best source for audiobooks is the library. They’re free, and if you don’t like a particular narrator you can just take it back and pick a new one!

My favourite narrator of audio books is Nathaniel Parker, best known for narrating the Artemis Fowl series, though I’ve listened to several others he’s done. I’d listen to anything he narrated, given that it wasn’t abridged.

I haven’t listened to a lot of audiobooks, but I love The Year of Secret Assignments by Jaclyn Moriarty. It’s great as just a book, but the audiobook really bring the characters the life hilariously.
Jim Dale is the obvious choice for favorite narrator. No one can beat him (and his voice is even more amazing in person!)
But more recently, I enjoyed Starters by Lissa Price on audio. I don’t know who narrated, but they did a really good job.

Illusions written and read by Frank Perrelli…simply beautiful 🙂
That is a really tough question! My favorite audiobook to date is still Jay Asher’s Thirteen Reasons Why. The format of the book suited the narration so well, and the duel narrators made me feel like I was really listening to those cassette tapes. My favorite narrator is a tough one, I do love Jim Dale–I think he could read the phone book and make it sound good.

I absolutley LOVED The Inheritence Cycle by Christopher Paolini which was read by Gerard Doyle. He (Doyle) was absolutely amazing! I also really like The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare but wish they had found and kept one reader for all of the books. Of course, the Harry Potter series on audio is incredible, as is The Chronicles of Narnia. I just love audiobooks!
