The Wonderfully Wicked Read-a-thon has begun, and it completely snuck up on me! When I realized how busy I was and that it was THIS weekend I got a bit stressed. Then I got over it. Reading is my escape, so I snapped out of it and there are no worries, this is going to be fun… and I’ll just have to sneak in reading around working and the social events planned for this weekend!
It’s not too late to sign up! Whether you can participate one day or all three, just sign up through the linky at My Shelf Confessions. You can find all the details and information about scheduled challenges over at Kindle Fever. I’m hosting a challenge – a stress free, easy and fun challenge – with a giveaway on Saturday night, so I hope to see you then!
I wish I could say I plan to read now until Sunday night but sadly that is not going to happen. I have to work tomorrow (Friday) and probably over the weekend… then there’s dinner plans and a birthday party to attend. So it will be interesting to see how much reading I can sneak in :).
Here’s my list of potential reads, but I’m not holding myself to any of them. I read faster when I read what I’m in the mood for…
Daughter of Smoke and Bones by Laini Taylor (I’m 25 pages in already)
Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park (I’m re-reading this for book club)
One Foot in the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
Chain Reaction by Simone Elkeles
Paper Towns by John Green
So, are you in?! What books are on your list of potentials?
