Everyone except Lydia, that is. Another patient with some special abilities… (Goodreads)

My Soul to Lose is a prequel novella for the Soul Screamers series. This was my first taste of the series, and I liked it! It was very informative about Kaylee and her condition/ability, and you also learn a little about Lydia. I may have enjoyed this a bit more if I had read My Soul to Take (book 1) first, or maybe not.. but I like to start at the very beginning of a story. This was definitely a teaser, and I look forward to reading book one of the series!

I thought Amanda Ronconi did a great job as narrator. I really didn’t think about her voice much, mainly because I was captured by the story and I easily tied her voice to Kaylee’s character. I was able to download My Soul to Lose for free from audible.com, and it’s still free now (as of the date of this review), so check it out!
