Waiting on Wednesday (WoW) is a weekly event hosted by Jill @ Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
This week’s WoW feature is:
Jane is on a plane on her way home to Montclair, New Jersey, from a mental hospital. She is about to kill herself. Just before she can swallow a lethal dose of pills, the plane hits turbulence and everything goes black. Jane wakes up amidst piles of wreckage and charred bodies on a snowy mountaintop. There is only one other survivor: a boy named Paul, who inspires Jane to want to fight for her life for the first time.
Jane and Paul scale icy slopes and huddle together for warmth at night, forging an intense emotional bond. But the wilderness is a vast and lethal force, and only one of them will survive. (Goodreads)
I just love a good survival story! I’ve heard mixed reviews about this one already which makes me even more curious to read it. I think I’ll love it, and can’t wait to get my hands on it :). What book are you anxiously waiting for this week?
I hope my USA friends are having a wonderful and safe 4th of July! Happy Independence Day!

This looks great, I love how we’re seeing more YA action-y books lately that could just as easily have been movies!:)

This is on my TBR too! I also love a good survival story and I think it will be so interesting to see how it goes with a character who didn’t want to survive. Great pick! 🙂
