Hi peeps! I’m still traveling. I’m so grateful I have the flexibility to travel this much, and I love visiting friends and family… but I’m pretty much ready to be home and back to a normal routine. Thanks for sticking with me even though I’ve been MIA from the blog, and not able to respond much, or return comments!

Book Haul

I thought I wasn’t going to have books to list this week and then two fell in my lap. My aunt loaned me her very loved copy of The Giver by Lois Lowry, and then I won a ebook copy of my choice from Nina of Nina Reads during her Twitter giveaway! I chose Hold Me Closer, Necromancer by Lish McBride – it’s only $2.99 on Amazon right now (cover image takes you there, be sure to check the price if you purchase as it may change). Thank you Nina! I’m excited to finally read this one, I’ve heard great things! If I can fit it in around my review books, I may read this one next.
Currently Reading
Yup, I’m still listening to this audiobook! I’m in sort of a reading funk at the moment. I’ve started and put down a few different books and haven’t been able to settle on one. Plus, I haven’t had time to read on this trip. I’m going to bed late each night and I’ve been too sleepy to read. What are you reading?

This week I’m hosting Jerome Charyn as part of his Back to Bataan book tour. He’ll be stopping by for an interview and to share an excerpt of his book. On Tuesday, I’m honored to share my interview with Lara Zielin, the author of The Waiting Sky! I loved her book, and I had so much fun interviewing her. I’ll be posting (finally, I’m behind schedule) my reviews of The Waiting Sky, and also DRAMA by Raina Telgemeier. I’ll also post my WoW pick of the week.
I’ll be returning home this coming week! But I have a lot of… STUFF… to catch up on. Once I recover I’ll be back to commenting and chatting on Twitter. I hope you’re all having a fantastic summer!
